Centered Double Decrease
(aka: sl2 tog, K1, pass the slipped stitches over (together))
It pulls both sides towards a central raised stitch, which looks super neat-o. I knit "british," so that's the way the tuturial goes.
The result:
- slip two stitches together as if to knit
- enter next stitch after the 2 you just slipped ... ... and knit it.
- With the left-hand needle, pick up the two slipped stitches and pass them together over the stitch just knit.
Crossed Right Slanting Decrease
This decrease twists the stitches around to match k2tog tbl.
Slip 1 k-wise, slip another k-wise, return them to left needle, and knit them together (through front loops)
